A weekly plan of action seems like a pretty good idea. It’s easier to accomplish goals when you lay them out. So this list won’t start with 52 but will get there eventually. The goals will cover everything from gratitude/attitude, creativity, looking after myself, helping others, putting myself out there, taking risks, having fun, the whole gamut so as to have a healthier, happier life.

Week 1/Jan 1 – Create a playlist of empowering songs. Songs about strength and overcoming adversity – Done
Week 2/ Jan 8 – Come up with a list of reading material that focuses on gratitude and positivity. It can be blogs, poems, fb groups or even old-school books. Anything that stresses being thankful for what you have and the positive things going on in your life – in process
Week 3/ Jan 15 – Purge 10 different items from kitchen and spare room – Done
Week 4/ Jan 22 – Go sledding. Keep a food diary for the week – 😦 Added to other weeks.
Week 5/ Jan 29 – Start the 21 Day “Revive Your Brain” Challenge!! – super slow start, keep working on it!
Week 6/ Feb 5 – Scrapbook at least 6 pages from Walt Disney trip. Go sledding – Done
Week 7/ Feb 12 – Sign up for a cooking course (a minimum of 6 classes). These can be spread out over the year. Sign up for group badminton. Clean the fridge. – Done except the cooking class, the one I want to sign up for is at the same time as badminton 😦
Week 8/ Feb 19 – Organize a get-together of some sort at your house, e.g. potluck, wine tasting, jewellery making, scrapbooking, board games, something. Meditate 3 times this week. Measure for a mirror in bathroom – the get-together organizing is on hold until end of March as March is extremely busy for me but I will reschedule it, the other 2 items- Done
Week 9/ Feb 26 – Keep a food diary for the week. Make a list of 10 things that you really enjoy doing (could be passionate about). Make a list of 5 things that you have thought of doing but haven’t. Make a list of 5 online projects that you have thought of but not pursued and list valid reasons for not doing them. Write a blog post listing 10 things you are grateful for. Re-read old blog posts. Play badminton – Done!
Week 10/ March 5 – Make a daily to-do schedule. Have candlelight dinners with your kids this week. Go through old paperwork, have a shredding day and get paperwork under control in kitchen. Organize good copies of your writing samples. Explore your Possible Passions and write a follow-up blog post on it – Done except for the Possible Passions follow-up, I’m still struggling with this but will attempt to write a follow-up next week.
Week 11/ March 12 – Go swim laps at the pool. Drink at least 6 glasses of water a day. Sign up for a cooking course. Go to a comedy show with friends. Write one of your online dating adventures. Play badminton – I completed the last 3 items, the first 3 are a different matter – the pool schedule changed, the cooking courses only seem to be on badminton nights and I did well with the water until the weekend. There’s always next week.
Week 12/ March 19 – Be extra nice to yourself. Drink at least 6 glasses of water a day. Create a bucket list that includes 44 things. Organize a get-together of some sort at your house, e.g. potluck, wine tasting, jewellery making, scrapbooking, board games, something. Enjoy a concert with your oldest – not sure I did so well with being extra nice to myself and for some reason I am not drinking water these days, but the rest got Done!
Week 13/ March 26 – Help 4 different people. Play badminton – Done! The helping people worked out well this week 🙂
Week 14/ April 2 – Do yoga 3 times this week. No Facebook Tues, Thurs and Sat. Have a photoshoot of your kids and use props – Done somewhat, didn’t get the 3 yoga and I peeked at FB on Sat.
Week 15/ April 9 – Take one day and go on a field trip with your camera. Take a minimum of 200 pictures this week. No FB on Monday. Play badminton – Done
Week 16/ April 16 – No FB Wed or Fri. Print a minimum of 20 pictures from your field trip and of your kids. Scrapbook them. Meditate 3 times. Read old blog posts. Follow-up with Possible Passions – this week was a bust for some reason. Didn’t really achieve anything off the list so will have to re-allocate them to other weeks 😦
Week 17/ April 23 – Dig out that bike and go for a ride. Use some polyfilla to fill in the holes in your living room. Organize things to purge and purge some stuff. Read old blog posts. Follow-up with Possible Passions. Play badminton – Bike – check, purging – check, badminton – check, well, 3 out of 6 ain’t bad.
Week 18/ April 30 – Plank a Day in May. Print a minimum of 20 pictures from your field trip and of your kids. Scrapbook them. Do the bridge walk. Set up badminton net in backyard – scrapbooking still not done but the bridge walk and playing badminton in the yard was a success. Plank a Day in May is off to a bad start, I’ve been focussing on the 30×30 challenge and forgetting about the planking.
Week 19/ May 7 – Read old blog posts. Follow-up with Possible Passions. Go find a waterfall. Plan a garden. Play badminton- basic garden planning done including planting two bushes and badminton done, the rest rescheduled.
Week 20/ May 14 – Go find a waterfall. Spend one day this week really focusing on the different smells around you – Done.
Week 21/ May 21 – Use some polyfilla to fill in the holes in your living room. Go for a walk in Odell Park. Plant flowers. Play badminton – didn’t get the holes filled but everything else is done.
Week 22/ May 28 – Plank a Day in June. Read old blog posts. Follow-up with Possible Passions. Pick out some paint for your bedroom or the rec room and buy it. Buy more flowers. Finish planting flowers – still need to read old blog posts and buy paint, the rest is done!
Week 23/ June 4 – Dig up spot to plant peas and beans. Use some polyfilla to fill in the holes in your living room. Take a field trip to the beach! Play badminton – Everything Done!! Plus, I bought paint!!
Week 24/ June 11 – Go to bed at 11:00pm every night. Print a minimum of 30 pictures from your field trip and of your kids. Scrapbook pics. Clean off dresser. Make a date with a FB friend. Play catch with the kids – I printed the pics but that was about all I got done this week 😦
Week 25/June 18 – Make a date with a FB friend. Drink at least 6 glasses of water a day. Paint a room in your house. Badminton – badminton was the winner this week.
Week 26/ June 25 – Make a date with a FB friend. Organize the spare room. Purge some more stuff – spare room mostly finished and some stuff got purged.
Week 27/ July 2 – Do yoga at least twice. Check to see if there are any cooking classes. Take one day and go on a field trip with your camera and kids and their cameras – Yoga YES, other stuff No 😦
Week 28/ July 9 – Start organizing a scavenger hunt. Go swimming. Compliment 10 people – I went swimming!!
Week 29/July 16 – Finish filing the paperwork. Meditate 3 times. No Facebook Saturday – I did the meditation and avoided FB for most of Saturday 😛
Week 30/ July 23 – No Facebook on Tues and Thurs.
Plan trip to Quebec water park! Write a thank you note to someone – my Facebook time was reduced on those 2 days but not cut out completely. I’ve decided that we cannot make the Quebec water park trip work this year, we’ll have to try again next year. I wrote my neighbour a Thank You note for re-planting her flower garden, I discreetly put it in her mailbox and I hope it makes her smile.
Week 31/ July 30 – Go to bed at 11:30pm every night this week – somewhere in there I lost a week :(, will reschedule this.
Week 32/ Aug 6 – Take one day and go on a field trip with your camera and kids and their cameras. Take a minimum of 200 pictures. Clean windows in your house. Sign up for 2 cooking classes – none of this happened 😦
Week 33/ Aug 13 – Give 7 gifts in 7 days. Have a photoshoot with all available kids and use props – I took tons of pictures of the kids at the beach, no props except for beach toys. Will have to reschedule 7 gifts.
Week 34/ Aug 20 – Yoga and meditate every day. Sign up for a cooking class. No Facebook Tues, Thurs and Sat – satisfactory level of completeness.
Week 35/ Aug 27 – Yoga and meditate every day. Take a cooking class. No FB Wednesday. Brainstorm ebook ideas. Paint your bedroom! – I did not paint my damn bedroom but I’m choosing success for the rest of the tasks.
Week 36/ Sept 3 – Write for an hour every day. Create a plan for scavenger hunt. Create an outline for one piece of writing. Clear off the computer desk.- outline , yes.
Week 37/ Sept 10 – Compliment 10 people. Clean windows in your house – I got the compliments in, that was the important one.
Week 38/ Sept 17 – Give out 7 hugs this week! Start organizing a scavenger hunt. Finish filing the paperwork – gave out more than 7 hugs but several were to the same people 😛
Week 39/ Sept 24 – Start organizing a scavenger hunt. Finish filing the paperwork -scavenger hunt done 🙂
Week 40/ Oct 1 – Give 7 gifts in 7 days. Make a list of second hand shops in Fredericton, Moncton, Saint John and wherever else you can find them. Plan a road trip to visit them. Invite someone to go with you – I gave 6 gifts in 7 days, so close. I did not figure out the second hand shops. I’m not really feeling this idea at the moment so I’m going to put it on hold.
Week 41/ Oct 8 – Purge some of your clothes. Organize a get-together for November – purged some clothes and thought about a get-together, not sure what to plan yet.
Week 42/ Oct 15 – Organize the laundry room – not done 😦
Week 43/ Oct 22 – No junk food this week! Make a video and post it on your blog. Go to bed at 11:30pm every night this week – not done again 😦
Week 44/ Oct 29 – Re-visit the 21 Day “Revive Your Brain” Challenge!! – not done 😦
Week 45/ Nov 5 – Do yoga 3 times this week. No Facebook Tues, Thurs and Sat. Give 7 gifts in 7 days – not done 😦
Week 46/ Nov 12 – Go get crocheting supplies. Watch some learn how to crochet videos – not done 😦
Week 47/ Nov 19 – Donate to Kiva.org. Re-visit the 21 Day “Revive Your Brain” Challenge!! – Done 🙂
Week 48/ Nov 26 – Compliment 7 people in 7 days. Do a craft with the kids – I did some complimenting this week, definitely more than 7 people, as for the craft, well, I helped my youngest draw a lobster.
Week 49/ Dec 3 – Paint a picture. Keep a food diary this week and post it on the blog – not done 😦
Week 50/ Dec 10 -Write at least 10 minutes/day. Do yoga at least once this week – some writing done and did yoga – Yay!
Week 51/ Dec 17 – Get ready for Christmas!!! Bake and finish shopping 🙂 – Yes!
Week 52/ Dec 24 – Scrapbookapalooza! Enjoy Christmas and your kids – no scrapbooking yet but I did print the pictures and I did enjoy Christmas!!
